MARTIN FIGLINSKI Oil Paintings

Martin Figlinski is a Florida native who has spent over four decades painting the landscapes of his home state. Working exclusively in oils, he emphasizes light, atmosphere, and mood, creating paintings that feel both alive and timeless.

Rather than replicating exactly what the eye sees, Figlinski seeks to capture the poetic essence of a place—the warmth of late afternoon, the hush of early morning, or the heavy air before a summer storm. His work reflects a personal response to Florida’s enduring beauty, shaped through numerous small studies painted on location and from memory that inform his larger compositions.
